OH the tremendous things we can do with our voices!

When we open our mouths we can choose that our words become as springs of living water

Giving drink to the parched soul stricken by life's burning temperature

When we speak let our voices create doors of escape to a peaceable place

Giving solitude to the one who is trapped in life's turmoil and chaos

We are our own Utopia;

We carry the very essence of life, living and vibrant in our vocal cords

We are our own song of freedom;

We can sing our way out of bondage, prison and slavery by simply giving a shout of protest 

When life kicks you in the stomach, when everything is caught in a web, when pain grabs you hard

And you suddenly want to explode, when you finally find your voice remember it is your ticket out of misery!

Therefore use it wisely; sing a song, say a prayer, pay a compliment, laugh out loud!

Listen to your voice for it is beautiful

Do not shut out your voice for it is powerful

Be gracious with your voice for it is full of life

Sing aloud for it is melodious

Beauty is what you say it is

Graciousness springs from contentment

And to be content is not to have all but to want what you have

Life is beautiful; not everyone is born a singer but there is a melody in every soul

OH discover the beauties that come from reveling in the melodies of your own voice

It reminds you that truly you are alive

And where there is life hope abounds

It tells the world you are bubbly and have plenty to give

 

Therefore now, speak out, shout out, sing out

Come alive again and again and again

Life is waiting...

...waiting to hear your voice!
